After debuting to some of the best ratings in A&E's history, "Growing Up Gotti" has gotten a quick order for more episodes.

The unscripted series about the life of author, Star columnist and mob daughter Victoria Gotti and her sons averaged 3.2 million viewers for its two premiere episodes Monday (Aug. 2). That's the biggest audience for a series premiere in A&E's history.

Of the show's 3.2 million viewers, 1.8 million were in the key adults 18-49 demographic -- also a record for a regular series on the network.

"Growing Up Gotti," which didn't get much love from critics, trains cameras on Victoria Gotti, the daughter of late mob boss John Gotti, and her three sons, John, Carmine and Frank. The debut found the boys trying to sabotage a blind date their mom had and followed Gotti to work at the Star.

The addition of seven episodes brings the total order for the series to 20 thus far, according to news reports.
